Marching together
Our members march regularly at Palestine solidarity rallies in Sydney, including at Hyde Park, often as a visible Jewish contingent and often with our children. If you would like to march with us, get in touch and we will tell you where to find us.
March for Humanity across the Sydney Harbour Bridge
We marched under our own banner, many of us with our children, in the March for Humanity organised by Palestine Action Group, crossing the Harbour Bridge in the rain alongside an enormous crowd calling for an end to the starvation of Gaza and a just peace for all. The march fell on Tisha B’Av, the fast day on which Jews mourn the destruction of the Temples and the catastrophes that have befallen our people, and for us it was a fitting way to observe it: by refusing to let catastrophe be inflicted in our name.
